What is a movement?

Here is our definition of a Movement:

When new disciples begin to gather regularly and obey all the commands of Jesus, fellowship results. When these new disciples begin to reach out to those in their circle of influence (work, clan, ethnic, tribe or otherwise) regularly seeking

those who are lost, a foundation is laid. When new disciples from these networks begin to meet, new fellowships are the result, and momentum has begun.  When this process occurs regularly down to the 3rd or 4th generation of networks, a movement has started.

North India

God is indeed working in a mighty way in North India, and APII has been blessed to join God where He is working. Since 1994, we have witnessed a movement of the Spirit of God. There has been exponential growth and an abundance of God's out-pouring.  These outcomes are due to a strategy focused on meeting community needs, making disciples, leadership development, and an emphasis on prayer.

Multiplication

The backbone behind a movement is multiplication. Multiplication occurs in 4 areas.  Disciples multiply disciples.  Disciples multiply the teaching they have learned and put into practice. Leaders multiply leaders. Gatherings multiply into more gatherings.

This principle is found in 2 Tim 2:2 as Paul (1) tells Timothy (2) to teach faithful men (3) that will teach others (4) also. When 4 generations can be seen, it is strong evidence that a movement is taking place.

Jesus tells us in Luke 10:2 that "the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Will you also join us in the harvest? Will you consider joining God where He is already working? Will you pray for multiplication to continue? Will you consider being a financial partner of Asian Partners? Give now.
