THE MOVEMENT
In recent church history this term has been used to describe how God is bringing rapid growth in the world of missions. “Church Planting Movements,” “Disciple Making Movements,” “Kingdom Movements,” or “Disciple Multiplying Movement” have all been used to describe it. Rapidly reproducing movements of disciples making disciples, Leaders making disciples and leaders and churches planting churches in multiple streams to fifth generations and beyond --- that is our objective
Multiplication takes place in partnership with several stakeholders in a community. Partnering maximizes efforts and resources. We know that we cannot do it alone. We need partners and their commitment to strategically engage others. Multiplication becomes part of the culture.

"And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."
2 Timothy 2:2
Multiplication
"Multiplication is the DNA of the movement. Leaders model multiplication because they are disciple-makers. It's who they are."
Randy Cole, API President
The backbone behind a movement is multiplication, which occurs in 4 areas. Disciples multiply disciples. Disciples multiply the teaching they have learned and put into practice. Leaders multiply leaders. Gatherings multiply into more gatherings.
This principle is found in 2 Timothy 2:2 as Paul tells Timothy to teach faithful men that will teach others also. When multiple generations can be seen, it is strong evidence that a movement is taking place.
Jesus tells us in Luke 10:2 that "the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Will you also join us in the harvest? Will you consider joining God where He is already working? Will you pray for multiplication to continue? Will you consider being a financial partner of Asian Partners?
Persons of peace are those in a community who welcome newcomers, especially those coming in peace. A community learning center is opened. The CLC starts meeting unmet needs. When the newcomers demonstrate their purpose is to bless the community by meeting real needs, the person of peace bridges them to the community network.
The person of peace is touched by the demonstration of love by these believers, which leads to questions of why. Why would you meet my needs? The believers share their message of faith and hope, and most times the person of peace wants to hear more. As family and friends are invited to come and listen, many believe and are led by the person of peace whom they already know. The person of peace is discipled all along the way and leadership skills are developed.
This process multiplies leaders, which leads to movements of people eager to share what they have learned and the Word spreads to new communities. New persons of peace are discovered and the movement continues to multiply.
